RCC EXPEDITION — FRESH WORKSTATION START
========================================

This kit is for new RCC users on macOS or Windows 11.

NEW USER: DO ONLY THIS
----------------------
1. Finish normal Mac or Windows setup.
2. Create/login to your normal personal account.
3. Insert the RCC Expedition USB key.
4. Double-click:

       START HERE.html

5. Follow the page and continue in the local course.

You do not need Python, Homebrew, Git, VS Code, a university account,
eduroam, or RCC access to start.

DATENSPARSAM — NO EXTERNAL MONITORING
-------------------------------------
RCC Expedition is self-contained and local.

There is:
  - no learner server;
  - no analytics;
  - no telemetry;
  - no central progress database;
  - no supervisor dashboard.

The course does not upload progress, workstation status, answers,
files, credentials, recovery keys, or SSH private keys.

Course progress stays in the browser on this computer. Local status
tools write only coarse PASS/WARN/FAIL/UNKNOWN results.

External websites are contacted only when you click a clearly marked
external reference. RCC is contacted only when you deliberately run an
SSH/RCC exercise.

SECURITY BOUNDARY
-----------------
A privately maintained or research workstation used for RCC must not
be turned into a clinical hospital endpoint.

Do not use hospital/clinical VPN as a route from this workstation into
the clinical network. Do not connect an unmanaged research laptop or
desktop to clinical/internal networks merely because they are
physically available.

For hospital-only clinical resources, use an appropriately managed
hospital endpoint.

For ordinary Internet connectivity, use eduroam when eligible and
available. Where locally provided, Stiftungsnetz may be used as a
temporary/semi-official Internet bootstrap route. This course makes no
undocumented claim about its isolation.
